“Abraham’s Boys: A Dracula Story” from Shutter and RLJE Films is set to hit select theaters July 11. This horror feature looks at one of the most well-known characters in the classic “Dracula” story, Abraham Van Helsing. But from a different perspective than we are used to. In the feature film, we find Bram Stoker’s creation in America, now with a wife and two children, along with a never ending threat created by his past.

A CHAT WITH TITUS WELLIVER

With the release of “Abraham’s Boys: A Dracula Story”, I spoke with actor Titus Welliver. In the film he plays the older and tormented Abraham Van Helsing. As an audience we see how his past is affecting the way he is raising his two kids.

In our conversation Welliver talks about how he approached this role of a well-known character in movie monster history and broke him down to his current state of being a father and husband with a dark past. He also comments on his experience working with Brady Hepner that plays his son Max in the film. Its a great conversation that you can check out below!
