Phineas and Ferb is quite possibly one of the most famous animated series out there in the world. Certainly, it’s one of Disney’s most famous series, and one of the oddest as well. After all, the basic premise of the show (created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh) is basically two stepbrothers trying their best to break reality in the most unsafe ways just to keep themselves from being bored during their summer vacation. Oh, and they have a pet platypus who’s secretly a secret agent engaging in regular fights with the local mad scientist. All in all: a bonkers story, but that’s why it’s so popular.

Disney knows this perfectly well, and it’s why they had it in mind for San Diego Comic-Con. In fact, that’s what our story is about today. Disney is proud to hype up the animated series at Comic-Con for SDCC 2025 with a “Cartoonified with Phineas and Ferb” panel. That panel marks the first time the series has made an official appearance since the show’s end in 2015, and drew “big energy, packed crowds and cosplay galore”. Not least of which because of who showed at the panel.

Not only did the co-creators Dan Povenmire (who voices Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz) and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (voice of Major Francis Monogram) show up, but a good chunk of the voice actors too. We had Vincent Martella (Phineas Flynn), David Errigo Jr. (Ferb Fletcher), Ashley Tisdale (Candace Flynn), Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus), and Alyson Stoner (Isabella Garcia-Shapiro) all show up to “[reminisce] about their favorite moments, [reflect] on their lives since the 2007 premiere, and [tease] new upcoming antics and adventures for the Flynn-Fletcher family and their friends”.

That’s not all though. As per the title of the panel, the star of the show is “Cartoonified with Phineas and Ferb”. It’s basically the world premiere of a new series of shorts in which the titular step-brothers “transform real-life celebrities into cartoons to go on hilarious adventures together”. Which celebrities, you might ask? Well, we’ve got a lineup that includes Mark Rober, Avantika, Brittany Broski, Walker Scobell, and Xochitl Gomez.

Cartoonified with Phineas and Ferb will make its debut sometime in 2026. You will be able to watch it on Disney Channel and Disney+. In the meantime, you can watch the original Phineas and Ferb series also on both Disney Channel and Disney+.
