“Smoke” is a new crime drama series exclusively streaming on Apple TV+. The series is inspired by the truth.media’s acclaimed podcast, “Firebug” that follows an arson investigator and police detective in search of two serial arsonists, who are becoming more of a threat with every fire.
A CHAT WITH DAKOTA DAULBY
With the release of “Smoke”, I spoke with actor Dakota Daulby. He plays Lee in the series who works with one of the arsonists named Freddy at his fast food day job. In our conversation, Daulby shared with me his thoughts on his role and working with Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine. He is one of the few characters who seems to have a friendlier interactions with Freddy.
