Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is perhaps one of the more suprising additions to Netflix’s growing catalog of adult animation. Mostly because there hasn’t been a Splinter Cell game for a very long time. Yeah, there’s a remake of the first game in the works at Ubisoft, but we still have no word about its launch schedule, and judging from how the game’s director, David Grivel, left Ubisoft in 2022, it might be a very long time before we see that remake. So that just leaves us with the last Splinter Cell game released, which was Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist all the way back in 2013. That’s 12 years since we last saw Sam Fisher, so you can bet that we’re hyped to see him in animated form. Thus, it’s why we’re getting this story.
Netflix is proud to debut the first official trailer for their upcoming animated series Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch. Said trailer also reveals that we’re going to see this series stream on Netflix on October 14, 2025. You can watch that trailer for yourself either on YouTube, or just look below:
Oh, but that’s not all. Netflix also now has an official logline for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch to tease the plot for us. You can read it below:
“In this first-ever adaptation of the acclaimed stealth video game franchise Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, legendary agent Sam Fisher is drawn back into the field when a wounded young operative seeks out his help. Produced by Ubisoft, in partnership with Derek Kolstad (John Wick), Sun Creature and Fost.”
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch Streaming on October 14, 2025

Splinter Cell fans, rejoice! For we shall soon get more of Sam Fisher (voiced by Liev Schreiber), as well as see the new main character Zinnia Mckenna (voiced by Kirby Howell-Baptiste). The latter is a new face for the franchise, since Zinnia appears in none of the previous Splinter Cell games. We will just have to see how she does in this animated series when Netflix finally streams it.
