Disney and Pixar’s Elio is finally coming home, and the film’s young stars, Yonas Kibreab (Elio) and Remy Edgerly (Glordon), couldn’t be more excited. In a recent interview, the duo opened up about their favorite moments, behind-the-scenes memories, and why families should be ready to add Elio to their home collection this fall.

Kibreab, who voices Elio Solís, admitted he’s especially eager for audiences to experience the bonus content that comes exclusively with the digital (August 19) and Blu-ray/4K UHD (September 9) releases. “I’m super excited to see some of the deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes,” he shared. “Every time a new movie I love comes out, I always check out the extras, so I think fans are really going to enjoy that too.”

Edgerly, who brings the lovable alien Glordon to life, agreed. He revealed how much fun he had creating Glordon’s quirky sounds, like crying through his mouth, since the character has no eyes. “It was actually pretty fun to do,” he laughed. He’s also looking forward to fans watching the gag reel, Pixar art class, and the special Easter eggs hidden throughout the film.

When asked what they’d do if they were named ambassadors of Earth, Kibreab said he’d take aliens to Venice Beach for skating and sand. Edgerly leaned toward the awe-inspiring beauty of a rainforest. Both answers reflected the same heart Pixar weaves into its storytelling: showing the beauty of Earth and human connection.
