Stay is coming to Hulu and Disney+ this fall! Andscape debuted the trailer for the supernatural thriller this week. Megalyn Echikunwoke and Mo McRae star in this tense story of marriage and rising danger. A couple is going through a separation and that would be bad enough. But, there’s also supernatural forces afoot. Stay will hit Disney+ on October 8 before making a trip to the New Orleans Film Festival on October 25.
Sabrina Clarke, Director of Experiential Storytelling & Operations at Andscape talked about sponsoring the film festival. She began, “Andscape is proud to begin our sponsorship of the New Orleans Film Festival—an institution that champions bold, authentic storytelling.”

“As a Black-led media platform devoted to telling stories that center the Black experience, Andscape is committed to amplifying new and necessary voices. Partnering with NOFS is a powerful extension of that mission,” Clarke added. “New Orleans, with its deep cultural roots and rich narrative tradition, is the perfect city to exhibit STAY. A project that reflects the kind of layered, resonant storytelling we strive to elevate.”
Stay is a brand-new supernatural thriller
We’ve got a fresh synopsis for the Huluween offering: “Stay follows Kiara, a PhD author of African spirituality, and Miles, a former MMA fighter, facing the end of their once beautiful marriage. As it appears matters can’t get any worse in their lives, they begin to encounter soul-shaking supernatural forces and go from fighting one another to fighting for their lives. The key to survival lies within their ability to conquer their darkest moments with courage and love.”
Stay creeps onto Hulu and Disney+ October 8, 2025.
