Warner Bros. has brought to life the official teaser trailer for The Bride, the highly anticipated new take on the Frankenstein mythos from director Maggie Gyllenhaal. The gothic romance brings Christian Bale, Jessie Buckley, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal, Penélope Cruz, and Peter Sarsgaard together in a haunting tale of love, creation, and chaos set in 1930s Chicago. The teaser offers a first look at Bale’s lonely monster and Buckley’s fiery resurrection, setting the stage for a story filled with murder, possession, and revolutionary passion. The Bride will be in theaters on March 6, 2025.

THE BRIDE

A lonely Frankenstein (Bale) travels to 1930s Chicago to ask groundbreaking scientist Dr. Euphronious (five-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening) to create a companion for him. The two revive a murdered young woman and The Bride (Buckley) is born. What ensues is beyond what either of them imagined: Murder! Possession! A wild and radical cultural movement!
