“Human” is a an eye opening series that you can watch on PBS NOVA. It’s an exploration of the origin of our spices hosted by paleoanthropologist, explorer, and TV presenter, Ella Al-Shamahi. The series is honestly mind boggling as it would seem that fossil finds say at one point and time on Earth, multiple human species existed!
LEARNING FROM ELLA AL-SHAMAHI
With “Human” on PBS NOVA I had the privilege of talking for a few minutes with Ella Al-Shamahi. She is an amazing person who has found many ways to take what she has learned throughout her expeditions and make them relatable to us. She does this through comparisons to pop culture and comedy. For someone who walked into this interview partially intimidated, Al-Shamahi has a very welcoming and friendly demeanor that made learning more about her work a lot of fun. It was a phenomenal conversation that you can check out below!
