Dear readers, we’re so much closer to launch day for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. As Activision’s latest FPS is set to drop on November 14th, the sky’s the limit for what we should expect. Don’t tell their marketing department that, though, as the return of Peter Stormare’s Replacer character has arrived – and the wild blue yonder isn’t holding him back at all!
The Replacer Is Back, Baby!
Weeks after Black Ops 7’s wildly enjoyable multiplayer beta, the title’s new Launch Trailer is here. This time, Call of Duty‘s long-running marketing icon is replacing the pilot on the first mission to Mars. Tasked with bringing Huda Mustafa, Jake Paul, and a talking baboon to Mars, those antics get as wild as you’d think:
So the good news is that The Replacer has accidentally jettisoned Jake Paul into the cold depths of space. So clearly this mission is in the name of humanity’s best interests! While Mr. Stormare is about to relive some of his Armageddon trauma, our Replacer has two new Replacers.
Even a professional substitute needs to be substituted every now and then; and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 showed us who gets the honors. Prepare yourselves, comedy fans, as The Replacer’s Replacers happen to be two very recognizable faces.

Introducing The Replacer’s Replacers
Surprise! Terry Crews and Nikki Glaser are the latest members of the Replacer Corps, and they’ve officially been called into duty in comedic fashion. An eager phone call, and one Blues Brothers reference later, our new recruits speed into action, Taking The Replacer’s iconic muscle car, of course.
Hopefully, this means that we’ll be getting some skins with Crews and Glaser jumping into action, dressed in the black suited uniform of a Replacer. We’ve seen Stormare’s OG variant do just that, and with Call of Duty: The Haunting’s franchise-friendly skins not crossing over into the next game, we’ll need some new faces to switch things up.
The clock’s ticking, and this surely isn’t the last we’ll see of The Replacer, or The Replacer’s Replacers. With Black Ops 7’s November 14th launch getting closer by the day, there’s still plenty of room for shenanigans. Oh, and a potential Jake Paul rescue mission…if we really want that sort of thing.
