Roku Channel is getting us closer to the holidays with Merry Little Mystery starring Jordin Sparks. Keori Alexander stars opposite the two-time Grammy-nominated singer on November 19th. Sparks’ character is trying to keep a nosy reporter off the scent of a Secret Santa in their small town. But, what happens when sparks start to fly near the holidays? Merry Little Mystery looks very sweet, and Sparks talked to Deadline about the project recently!
“Working on Merry Little Mystery was such a beautiful moment in time. The entire filming process, cast and crew, and the City of Montreal were wonderful,” she began. “Our director, Caroline [Labrèche], had a great vision, and I’m truly excited that my co-star Keon Alexander and I got to bring this story to life together. I enjoy doing holiday movies because they bring warmth and love that is yearned for. They make people smile, and we need more of that!”
What’s the story of Merry Little Mystery?
We’ve got a brand-new synopsis for Merry Little Mystery: “Natasha Maxwell spends the holidays at her grandparent’s house in the tiny town of Roundtop, where she grew up. She happily takes over from her grandfather as the small town’s benevolent Secret Santa, covertly delivering gifts to deserving and grateful citizens. Meanwhile, while attempting to foil Adrian, an investigative reporter determined to reveal Natasha’s identity as the mystery gift giver, she ends up falling in love.”
