EJAE describes her creative process and the song’s inspiration, discussing the quiet moments spent imagining a life not lived. “In Another World” is EJAE’s debut single. The song’s music video was shared on YouTube under two weeks ago, where it has been watched over 2.4 million times. Across music streaming platforms, the track garnered over 7 million plays.
From KPop Demon Hunters to Solo Artist
While “In Another World” marks EJAE’s first solo single, you’ve almost certainly heard her sing before. She provided the singing voice for Rumi in Netflix’s hit animated feature KPop Demon Hunters. “Golden”, which EJAE co-wrote and co-performed for the film, topped the Billboard 100 charts in over 30 countries. She also performed the song live on both Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
