Grammy-nominated artist, producer, and songwriter Klypso is entering a new chapter in his career. He has recently dropped a new single titled “Stray Cat”, ahead of his debut EP in 2026. The song is being released in three chapters. The song, a music video, and latere this year a limited-edition comic book.

GETTING TO KNOW KLYPSO

With the release of “Stray Cat”, I had the opportunity to talk with Klypso. Getting to know him and learn about his career. In our conversation we talk about the inspiration behind this project and why this was the right time for him. We also talk about everything he has learned from working with some of the biggest names in rap and hip-hop including Dr. Dre, E-40, and 50 Cent. Finally he shares with me what were some of the key moments early in his career that allowed him to have success. Its a great conversation that you can check out below!

ABOUT STRAY CAT

The song is the first chapter in the Stray Cat Trilogy, a creative project inspired by heartbreak and renewal. Stray Cat captures the raw emotions that come when someone you love drifts away. Leaving you with questions, pain, and the feeling of being forgotten. It speaks to anyone who has ever felt abandoned by someone they trusted. Whether that was a partner, a friend, or a loved one, and the struggle to hold on to hope when love has faded.

The music video is the second chapter of the trilogy. It builds on that message by showing how hope can arrive even in the darkest moments. It follows a man who falls from the sky to bring sight to the blind, compassion to the homeless, and hope to the broken. Through powerful and symbolic imagery, it reflects the idea that light can reach anyone. No matter how far they have fallen.

The Stray Cat Trilogy will conclude later this year. With a limited-edition comic book revealing who the man of the sky truly is. Completing the story of loss, faith, and restoration. Part of the proceeds from the comic will benefit a charity of Klypso’s choosing. Continuing his mission to bring light to those most in need.
