“André Is An Idiot” is now playing in theaters. This feature film documentary is a unique look at André Ricciardi’s journey after being diagnosed with cancer. In the feature Ricciardi says he is an “idiot” for skipping the colonoscopy that could have saved his life. While this documentary serves as a reminder to get a check-up. it also is a reminder that a diagnosis like Ricciardi’s doesn’t have to stop you from being yourself at the fullest.

GETTING TO KNOW THE FILMMAKERS OF “ANDRE IS AN IDIOT”

With the release of “André Is An Idiot” I had the opportunity tot talk with Tony Benna and Lee Einhorn. Benna is the director of the film. Einhorn serves as an executive producer and is the co-subject of the film. In our conversation we talk about their approach to this documentary and their feelings about documenting this journey.
