Get ready for a legendary theatrical return at CinemaCon 2026. No it’s not someone showing off a new movie at Caesar’s Palace, it’s Air Bud! From 2-4pm PT on Tuesday, April 14, Barco, the global leader in laser cinema technology, will host a special appearance by Air Bud, the beloved canine icon and star of the upcoming theatrical film AIR BUD RETURNS, at the Barco exhibition space – located in Roman Ballrooms 3 & 4 of Caesars Palace. 

Open to registered CinemaCon trade show pass holders, the appearance promises to be one of the convention’s most energetic and joy-filled moments. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in photo ops with Air Bud and try their luck at a custom-built basketball hoop experience celebrating the film’s signature charm. Barco and Cineverse will also offer refreshments and themed giveaways, making the event a lively ‘must-see’ stop on the show floor.

Also during the event, Director Robert Vince will join Cineverse in hosting an exclusive sneak peak of the movie, optimized for presentation in Barco Laser technology. 

AIR BUD RETURNS, the latest chapter in the beloved franchise, marks the highly anticipated theatrical relaunch of the beloved golden retriever. Air Bud Returns is a quintessential family movie, a true event uniting a multigenerational audience through heart, humor, and inspiration. Yes, there “still…ain’t no rule that says a dog can’t play basketball.” Air Bud Returns will hit theaters on January 22, 2027.

CinemaCon is the largest global convention for cinema operators, held annually at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. This year’s event runs April 13–16. Admission to Barco’s exhibit is free and open to tradeshow pass holders and fully registered show attendees.
