Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends gets ready to launch on Disney Jr. August 11. The preschool series lifts off at 8:30am ET/PT with an encore on Disney Channel later that day. 10 episodes are going to be ready for Disney+ on August 12. More episodes are coming this year and into 2026. In an exciting moment, Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus also performed the theme song for the new show. You can listen to “Totally Awesome” right here on the page right now.

Mason Bloomberg plays Tony Stark in the new series. His friends Riri Williams and Amadeus Cho are played by Kapri Ladd and Aidyn Ahn. Tony Hale challenges our heroes as Ultron. Vanessa Bayer plays Swarm, and Absorbing Man will be portrayed by Talon Warburton. It’s a fun mix-up of so many different corners of the Marvel universe.

The company encourages Preschoolers to get out and play with Disney Jr.’s let’s play initiative. Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends encourage this active playtime. Tie-in children’s books and Hasbro products will be available after the show launches. An original soundtrack for the Disney Jr. program will also be released on August 15.

Disney Jr. brings young viewers more of their favorite Marvel characters. This is how the network describes the new show: “ Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends follows the adventures (and misadventures) of best friends and super geniuses — Tony Stark, Riri Williams and Amadeus Cho — as they work together to solve problems, both big and small, and protect their city. In order to help them save the day, the Iron Friends each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them enhanced super-strength.”

Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends come from Disney Branded Television. Sean Coyle and Harrison Wilcox serve as executive producers with James Eason-Garcia. Other producers include Alex Cichon and Ashley Rideout. Michael Dowding is the supervising director, and Matthew Margeson handles the music as series composer. Disney Jr. teams up with Marvel Studios for the show in association with Atomic Cartoons.
