In Your Dreams has a big shiny new trailer for the Netflix family favorite. Director Alex Woo is ready to introduce the masses to Craig Robinson’s Baloney Tony. In Your Dreams premieres on the streamer November 14th. Later this fall, fans will be introduced to Elias Janssen and Jolia Hoang-Rappaport as Stevie and Elliot. These two siblings are trying to find The Sandman to get their ultimate dream. But of course they have a lot of chaos to navigate with Baloney Tony.
At the core of this film is the dynamic between Stevie and Elliot. Alex Wu and star Craig Robinson were a part of a Q+A on June 5th. We were happy to attend for That Hashtag Show. In Your Dreams dives deep into the psyche of those two characters. But the director told us about his own experiences, and how they molded these portrayals of Stevie and Elliot.
“I kind of grew up on movies that told me if I wished hard enough, my dreams could come true,” Woo told us during the event. “But as I grew older, I realized that sometimes dreams don’t come true, and that’s what I wanted to explore. What do you do when they don’t? How do you find hope and keep moving forward?”

Netflix’s big family adventure is on-hand and we’ve got a new description for you: “In Your Dreams is a comedy adventure about Stevie and her brother Elliot who journey into the absurd landscape of their own dreams. If the siblings can withstand a snarky stuffed giraffe, zombie breakfast foods, and the queen of nightmares, the Sandman will grant them their ultimate dream come true…the perfect family.”
