“Not A Box” from Apple TV+ is now available on their streaming service. The series follows a bunny named Riley who, with just a cardboard box and a wonderful imagination, creates magical worlds where she goes on many adventures. The series is inspired by the book that goes by the same name from author and illustrator Antoniette Portis.

With the release of “Not A Box”, I spoke with executive producer Dete Meserve, executive producer, and Michael Rabb, writer, co-executive producer. In our conversation, we talked about the importance of nurturing a child’s imagination. They also share with me some thoughts on some of the changes over the years in children’s programming.
