Zootopia 2 is on the way with a new single from Shakira! Fans who have been waiting for “Zoo” are in luck. Shakira delivers a song that is sure to get all the people out there movie ahead of the movie’s release next month. The latest trailer for Zootopia 2 features the singer as Gazelle, she’s the biggest star in Zootopia after all. Walt Disney Animation studios is excited to welcome folks back to the magical world after all this time.

Shakira’s not alone this time. The star is joined by Ed Sheeran, Blake Slatkin, and more for “Zoo.” In addition, Slatkin, Sheeran, Shakira, and A.C. Castillo produced the new single. There’s a 7-inch purple vinyl dropping from Disney Music as well! So, people can look forward to that while they pre-save or order the soundtrack. Check out the latest on “Zoo” right here!

Zootopia 2 gets new Shakira single

Check out Disney’s latest synopsis for the sequel: “In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2, detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down.” 

“To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before. Oscar winner Jared Bush (co-director/co-writer Zootopia, director/co-writer “Encanto”) is directing and writing; Yvett Merino (Oscar-winning producer “Encanto”) produces. Zootopia 2 hits theaters in November 2025.”
