What We’re Watching: KPOP Demon Hunters – In theaters now!

Netflix is giving its biggest film of the year another go in cinemas. K Pop Demon Hunters returns to theaters with a sing along event just in time for Halloween. Rumi, Mira, and Zoey are here to protect the world from Demons who threaten our peace. There are amazing musical numbers, dramatic outfits, and a screaming crowd of fans waiting to experience golden in a room packed with other people. K Pop Demon Hunters Sing Along is a true cinematic event, and a good way to kick off Halloween weekend.
Sinners – In IMAX now
Ryan Coogler’s pop culture moment is back in IMAX after a dominant run at the box office this year. Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld and all the characters you’ve seen in all these Halloween TikToks are along for the ride again. It’s been a whole year of people obsessing about this film and now you can experience it on a massive screen again.
The Twilight Saga – In theaters now!

Fathom Events brings Twilight back to theaters for a wild experience with these movies. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and more are just as you remember them in this mid-2000s phenomenon. Expect the screenings to be punched up a bit by the Halloween festivities. You’ve probably seen this movie a million times, what’s one more time with feeling?
Stitch Head – In Theaters Now
Asa Butterfield’s delightful little Frankenstein riff will charm you. Grubbers Nubbin is a small town with a grudge against oddities from a tinkering professor. How will they take to Stitch Head in this charming animated comedy. If you’ve got smaller viewers, this one may be worth checking out!
Violent Ends – In Theaters Now
The Ozark mountains Play host to a revenge thriller that doesn’t hold back. Billy Magnussen Plays Lucas Frost. This was reared in a crime family, and the only language they all seem to speak fluently is violence. It’s southern gothic styling is very of the moment in cinema right now. But, Violent Ends plays a bit more towards the adult tastes looking for something to watch this weekend.
Twisted Wonderland – Streaming on Disney+
I have a simple question for you: Do you like Walt Disney Animations “renaissance” classics? If the answer to this question is yes, then you’ll love Twisted Wonderland. The new anime series airing on Disney+ takes fan favorites like Aladdin, The Lion King, Alice in Wonderland, and more for a mystical ride. Add in a pinch of “magic school” trope drama for good measure and we have a fun show on our hands.
Star Wars: Visions – Streaming on Disney+

Star Wars: Visions is back and fans are really digging these animated stories from a Galaxy far, far away. One of the biggest strengths for Star Wars: Visions across this now 3 season run is that the tails get to be their own thing. Yes we love The Mandalorian, and Grogu, but it’s nice to have these stories that explore under-examined corners of the Star Wars mythos. If you love a light Saber, go ahead and click over to Disney+.
The Witcher – Streaming on Netflix
Liam Hemsworth is now Geralt, and things are a bit different in the Netflix favorite. Can you believe there are only two seasons left? It’s been a wild journey across the continent. Regis enters the picture, played by Laurence Fishburne. All roads point to even more escalating tension for Geralt and company on the way to a finale.
Hedda – Streaming on Prime Video
Nia DaCosta is back with a much lower-scale affair than her other recent work. Hedda is the story of a woman caught between a rock and a hard place. Based on Henrik Ibsen’s beloved play, DaCosta and Tessa Thompson weave a sexy, moody take on a woman with desire in a climate that doesn’t encourage it. Highly recommend for drama fans out there.
I Love LA – Streaming on HBO Max
Influencers are everywhere now. HBOs latest spin around the block sees Rachel Sennott doing some very funny nonsense about Influencer life and what kind of horrors await you behind a smartphone screen. This comes out Sunday and if you’ve ever thought, “this isn’t hard, I could do that!”, go ahead and take a peek!
