It’s about time to check back in to the Hazbin Hotel, and ahead of its upcoming season 2 release, Prime has given us a first look at where our favorite wayward sinners are after the events of the finale. The battle with Heaven is over, Adam is dead, Sir Pentious has been redeemed, and the hotel has been rebuilt. All seems well, but of course, it’s Hell.

Consisting of 8 episodes, with two rolling out weekly until November 19th, the season picks up after the battle with Heaven. The official synopsis teases that things are not quite as good as they should be, despite the hotel’s booming new reputation. Faced with the conflicts of the battle, and with a Hell in disarray, the overlord trio known as The Vees (led by the television demon Vox) are poised to take over Hell. Meanwhile, Heaven must deal with the sudden appearance of a redeemed Sir Pentious.

Hazbin Hotel comes from creator Vivienne Medrano. Far from its humble beginnings as a YouTube pilot in 2019, it took the world by storm with the release of its first season in 2024, and fans are clamoring for even a bit of what’s to come. Whatever it is, the stakes do look rather dire for our favorite characters. Alastor appears to still be bleeding from the wound inflicted by Adam, and why are there tears in Angel Dust’s eyes? We need answers!

Hazbin Hotel releases on Prime Video on October 29. Fans of the Hellaverse can also look forward to a new prequel episode to Helluva Boss on Prime soon.
