Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85 heads to Netflix in 2026. The streamer announced The new animated series today showrunner Eric Robles is excited to bring fans back to Hawkins in the winter of 1985. There are new monsters and of course a central mystery for our familiar looking friends. The Duffers are a board as executive producers with Sean Levy and Hilary Leavitt. It’s gojng to be a wild ride.

In the featurette up top, fans revisit Hawkins and some familiar vibes from Stranger Things. As has become custom, Stranger Things Day comes with a big announcement on November 6. (That’s the day Will Byers disappeared, for those who might not remember!) With the latest season on the way, expect some big surprises in the coming weeks from this massive franchise. 

Stranger Things Animated Series coming to Netflix next year

Netflix has a synopsis for the anticipated Stranger Things show: “Welcome back to Hawkins in the stark winter of 1985, where the original characters must fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorizing their town in Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, an epic new animated series.” 

Cast members for Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85 include Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will and Brett Gipson as Hopper. Additional voice cast includes Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo and Lou Diamond Phillips.
