Prime Video has released the official trailer for the animated series, “The Chosen Adventures”. The series follows two kids named Abby and Joshua. In their adventures in Capernaum they meet Jesus of Nazareth, who changes the way they see the world. The series premieres on October 17, with all 14, 11-minute episodes.

This series comes as earlier this year Amazon MGM Studios agreed to a first-look deal with 5&2 Studios. This provided streaming rights to the first five seasons of “The Chosen”‘. As well as the series’ upcoming two final seasons. It also includes the upcoming unscripted series “The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylis” and the drama “Joseph of Egypt”.

“The Chosen Adventures” follows nine-year-old Abby and her best friend Joshua as they navigate life in the ancient city of Capernaum. When the children encounter a wise craftsman and teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, he changes the way they see the world. And did we mention that she has a talking sheep?

The Chosen Adventures stars Paul Walter Hauser as Sheep, Yvonne Orji as Pigeon, Romy Fay as Abby, Jude Zarzaur as Joshua, Danny Nucci as Abba and Zehra Fazal as Eema.

The series also features The Chosen’s Jonathan Roumie as Jesus. Other recurring and guest voice cast members include Jordin Sparks as Fish, Paras Patel as Matthew, Elizabeth Tabish as Mary, Noah James as Andrew, George H. Xanthis as John, Joey Vahedi as Thomas, Yasmine Al-Bustami as Ramah, Brandon Potter as Quintus, Banks Pierce as Hilarius Maximus, and Julian Grant as Cyrius Maximus.

Ryan Swanson serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner, with Dallas Jenkins executive producing under his 5&2 Studios banner. Chris Juen, Chad Gundersen, Keith Alcorn, Kellen Erskine, and Derral Eves also serve as executive producers, alongside producer Erin Elizabeth Gardner and co-producer Myesha Gosselin.
