Anyone who is even remotely familiar with Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) will have at least heard of The Mighty Nein. They’re some of the most famous parties of the Critical Role campaign. They’re also some of the silliest, but that’s par for the course in a D&D campaign. Heck, in many ways, their silliness is a symbol of the wildness and fun insanity D&D campaigns as a whole.
It’s probably why Amazon Prime Video is getting in on this, as well as this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). Amazon Prime Video is proud to announce that they teased an animated adaptation of The Mighty Nein at SDCC 2025. As part of that announcement, they released a rather hilarious sneak peek trailer for it on YouTube, which also reveals this series will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video starting on November 19, 2025. Honestly, this will be exciting news for all you D&D fans out there. Soon, the Mighty Nein will be forever immortalized in animated form. Will their onscreen adventures be good? Well, if the sneak peek is anything to go by, it will at the very least be hilarious to watch. At least, for all you Amazon Prime Video subscribers. For the rest of us, we shall need to open up our wallets for a subscription to be able to watch this.
