Avatar: The Last Airbender is back for Season 2 and we just got a special look. The Gaang’s all here for the latest chapter of this beloved series. We’re headed to Ba Sing Se and the Earth Kingdom’s intrigue. Toph is a huge draw for Season 2 of the live-action series based on Avatar: The Last Airbender. But, fans of the animation know, things get even more complicated for Aang and his friends as they try to prepare for the looming battle. Check out the trailer up above!

“Our goal for Season 1 was to introduce the audience to this group of characters that were kids in the middle of a war zone,” executive producer Jabbar Raisani told TUDUM. “And [in] Season 2, we take those kids and they grow. But growth is not a straight line. … They’re really trying to figure out who they are.”

Avatar The Last Airbender comes back for Season 2

Here’s how Netflix describes the live-action series: “AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER follows Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, Air) to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation.”

“In S2, after a bittersweet victory saving the Northern Water Tribe from the invading Fire Nation, Avatar Aang, Katara and Sokka regroup and set off on a mission to convince the elusive Earth King to aid in their battle against fearsome Fire Lord Ozai.”

The Last Airbender returns on June 25.
