Netflix’s One Piece just keeps getting more epic as Xolo Mariduena joins Season 3. The Blue Beetle star plays Portgas D. Ace in the upcoming batch of episodes. Netflix has been on a One Piece tear recently. Internet favorite Cole Escola has been cast as Bon Clay. In addition, there’s more cast reveals coming before production restarts in Cape Town, South Africa later this year.
Season 2 is coming up faster than anyone expects. Luffy and friends return for One Piece: Into the Grand Line on March 10, 2026. Netflix can’t get enough of the anime adaptation’s performance since the big debut. One Piece was basically everywhere when it comes to Netflix’s TUDUM event earlier this year. Don’t expect that love to stop anytime soon!

Season 2 sees Luffy and his pals heading to Drum Island. Netflix’s TUDUM talked to showrunner Joe Tracz about the upcoming journey. Expect epic when it comes to Season 2 of the beloved anime adaptation.
“Drum Kingdom is a winter island. It’s our medieval Winterfell Game of Thrones location, where you have this haunted-seeming castle at the top of a snowy mountain inhabited by someone the villagers say is a witch,” Tracz told Tudum.
“We brought in piles and piles of fake snow,” Tracz add. “It tricks your brain. You’d get to set and feel like you should be cold, even though it was summer, because of all the fake snow everywhere.”
