It’s hard to find someone these days who hasn’t at least heard of One-Punch Man. It’s not even hard to see why either. The original manga by writer ONE and artist Yusuke Murata earned critical acclaim around the world for its ridiculous comedy-drama story, its excellent art work, and its explosive (many times literally) action scenes. The anime adaptation by studio Madhouse only increased that fame when it made its debut back in October 5, 2015; with the second season by J.C.Staff only cementing that fame by the end of its run on July 3, 2019.
Since then though, we’ve had little word on One-Punch Man Season 3. Over six years have gone by since then without a new season of the anime. Fortunately, that will all change soon. Unfortunately, that’s the end of the good news.
Viz Media is proud to announce that One-Punch Man Season 3 will soon start streaming…on four separate platforms. All four streaming platforms will stream this third season on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 8:15 a.m. PT. However, exactly which streaming service will stream it will depend on where you live.
U.S. viewers can watch One-Punch Man Season 3 on Hulu, but Canadian viewers will need to go to Disney+. Viewers in Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand can watch it only on Netflix. However, Latin American viewers as well as in Oceania can also watch it on Crunchyroll. And of course, if you wish to watch the previous two seasons, then you need to head to Hulu if you live in the U.S., or head to Netflix if you live Canada and Latin America. If you want to purchase it digitally, then head on over to Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google TV, or Fandango at Home.
One-Punch Man Season 3 Premiering in a Confusing Jumble of Streaming Services
If you’re confused by that jumbled mess of streaming services, then don’t worry. You’re not the only one. I shudder at what sort of labyrinthian contractual chaos must’ve occurred for Hulu/Disney+, Netflix, and Crunchyroll to all hold the streaming license for One-Punch Man Season 3 simultaneously, but only in different regions. There must’ve been some sort of agreement among them to split the revenue or something, because it doesn’t make a lick of sense otherwise. On one hand, I’m glad that One-Punch Man is popular enough for three major streaming services to fight over like this. On the other hand, we now have a confusing mess to navigate just to watch it. Well, I wish us all luck in that endeavour. I have a feeling we’re going to need it.
