Ororo Munroe, also known by her more popular name of Storm, is perhaps one of the most famous of the X-Men. Not least of which is because she’s the second of Marvel’s Black female superheroes, debuting just two months after Mercedes “Misty” Knight did. However, Storm’s sheer prominence in Marvel comics in the ’80s ensured that she remained popular right up until the present day. That enduring popularity is likely also why we’re getting this particular bit of news today.
Mondo is proud to announce a brand new line of X-Men merch featuring Storm for a limited time only. This new line of merch consists of three things. One is a 1/6 scale figure of Storm in her ’97 incarnation, complete with detachable parts for different poses:

Storm Mondo Merch Available for Limited Time Until November 7
Honestly, if you’re a X-Men fan or even just a fan of Storm, all of this Mondo merch seems like the perfect thing for you. Or at least, it would be perfect if they weren’t so incredibly expensive. The figure in particular being an eye-watering $245 seems like a bit much, to be honest. If you have the money to spare, then good for you. Otherwise though, the $245 pricing combined with the limited time preorder makes it seem more than a little predatory. All we can hope for though is that Mondo eventually brings all of this merch back…someday.
