Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is one of the most iconic franchises in history. It’s hard for anyone in the modern day to not recognize the sight of the pizza-munching turtles kung fu fighting their way through armies of ninjas. Certainly, their creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird must be as proud of their mutant children as much as their elderly mutant sensei rat father must be. It’s that fame which might explain today’s bit of news.

Mondo is proud to announce a brand new line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1/6 Scale figurines from MondoVerse. In fact, the first figurine of this new line is the TMNT – Donatello 1/6 Scale Figure – Timed Edition, now available for purchase. This is a little 1/6 scale figurine of the brainiest of the turtles, featuring “swappable portraits, weapons, and accessories, including removable soft goods and interchangeable eyes”, on top of “ultra-realistic textures and details from the brand’s creatives”.

Donatello showing off that he is indeed the brains of the operation.

Honestly, this is a pretty good-looking figurine of Donatello here. It’s exquisitely detailed, and comes with numerous accessories to show him off as the brains of his brothers. Alas, the limiting factor here is the price. $250 is a pretty hefty amount of money, especially in today’s economy. And do note: this is just the retail price. It doesn’t even begin to add shipping fees, sales tax, and tariff surcharges specifically for U.S. customers. Thus, if you’re tight on funds, you might want to save up, or hold off on this purchase for the time being.

What do you all think? Are you willing to pay $250 to own this Donatello figurine? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
