Spooky season is here, and what better way to get into the Halloween spirit than with some killer comics? Titan Comics has a candy bag full of eerie adventures, supernatural stories, and pulse-pounding tales, and even some laughter perfect for a late-night read under the pumpkin glow. As a fan of all things creepy and geeky, I’ve narrowed it down to my 5 Must-Read comic books from Titan Comics that will have you hooked, haunted, and laughing for more this Halloween!
1 NEVER BEEN DEADER (On Sale Sept 23)
First, I would like to thank Titan Comics for a review copy of this comic (review coming soon). If you are a fan of Lenore and irreverent humor, this comic is a must-read. While this is not a scary Halloween story, it tells the story of Lifeless Carl and his time spent in the offices of Afterlife Industries, where he works in the Department of Intake for the recently deceased.
Lifeless Carl shares many of the same complaints as the usual non-deceased white-collar worker, like getting granted a half day but having to do double the work in part of the time. Luckily, Carl has his colleagues to alleviate some of his workplace anxiety, including Myrtle, his best work friend and confidant, Newbie, his often-confused trainee, and, at the end of the day, his sarcastic pet cat, Furball.

2. The KRAKEN (On Sale Sept 30)
I was lucky enough to get my hands on an early review copy of KRAKEN, a brand-new original graphic novel coming this September 2025 from Titan Comics, and trust me, this one is a must-have for your comic book collection. Written by Shannon Eric Denton (Spider-Man, League of Legends) and brought to life by artist David Hartman (Phantasm: Ravager, Transformers Prime), this tale plunges readers into an alternate 1930s where dark magic, ancient horrors, and occult powers will keep you on the edge of your seat.
After disappearing for three years, esteemed adventurer Kraken returns to reality in search of allies to stop an evil sorceress from unleashing a horde of eldritch monsters on the world. Armed with a pistol and supernatural tentacles, the Kraken is loose.
3. Return To Skull Island #1 (4-issue series)
The first issue of this Series came out this past July, and if you are a fan of the animated Netflix series, you are going to want ot read this. Created by writer Simon Furman and artist Christopher Jones, this series is officially part of the MonsterVerse and keeps the Titan action going right in your own home.
A ragtag group of castaways must return to an island steeped in dark secrets and danger!
