After an excellent panel from Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group on Saturday at Midsummer Scream 2025, they came back for an entire panel on the Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor. The panel featured maze announcements and other details. it was an excellent panel that showed off changes to the event and gave fans something to look forward to this Halloween season.
Let’s jump in.
Starting off the panel, the Dark Harbor team took the stage, but so did The Captain of The Queen Mary.

He pumped up the crowd and whipped them into a fervor for the announcements that were to come.
They kicked off the panel with an announcement of something not returning for 2025.

The old English village in the front of the Dark Harbor event was at one point condemned by the city of Long Beach. It was something that they had to navigate around, but now, that area will not be there for 2025. It does mean, however, that this event will be the biggest by area for Dark Harbor in its history. They’re changing around the layout to accomodate for all the extra space.
Coming to Dark Harbor is the newly updated Shipyard area. It’ll have shows and music, and it’ll be where the maiden voyage happens at 8:08PM every night of the event.

The Voodoo Drummers and Fire Dancers are back for 2025 with shows on the main stage. The Dark Harbor Sliders will also have a bigger area to work in at the center of the event for Slider Alley.

What’s New Coming To Dark Harbor 2025?

Brand-new for Dark Harbor 2025 is the RIP Tour. It’ll include front of the line passes, a guide, and you’ll be able to even join in on the scares in the mazes, and plenty more. This is a new ticketed option for dates during this Halloween season.

The special themed nights of 2024 are back with plenty more like Pyro Spectacular Night and “Haunt Couture” Dapper Day. They join the previously announced Pride Night and Day of the Dead celebration during the Dark Harbor event.

Lady Mabel and the speakeasies of last year are making their return in different spots for 2025. You’ll be able to get speakeasy tokens from characters around the event to gain access.

Also new for 2025 is an escape room designed exclusively for the Queen Mary. For the show, it’ll be 10 minutes and eventually open up to 1 hour with a story based around the Queen Mary.
The Mazes Of Dark Harbor 2025

Feast is having its final run in 2025. They’re adding new effects to the dining hall scene in the maze. Feast: The Final Cut continues the story of The Butcher and his journey to becoming the head chef for the ship and what horrible things he’s been up to.

Lullaby makes its return for 2025 with the story of Scary Mary and the pool of the Queen Mary. Lullaby will have a mix of historic items and they have to recreate the pool because it’s not accesible for guests, for safety reasons. The Thirteenth Floor team has tried as hard as possible to recreate the look of the pool for the maze.

Big Top Terror takes its residence back up on land for the event. It’ll have the ringmaster icon and three sections for guests to walk through to be terrified.

Graceful Gale and Dr. Edwin Masters came out to show off the Infirmary maze for 2025. There are plenty of new changes for the maze this year, and they’ll show off Gale and Masters’ relationship in the marketing for the event.

Breakout: Maximum Security is the returning maze with the biggest changes coming to it. It was focused on Samuel the Savage and his incarceration and breakout from prison, but now it’ll mostly focus on his time in prison. This one was constrained by the English Village in the middle, but with that gone, it’ll have more room to work with.

They saved a surprise for the end of the panel with an announcement of a sixth and new maze, Voodoo: The Queen’s Curse. It tells the story of the Voodoo Queen and how she and the Queen Mary are intertwined.

Finally, for the first time ever, you’ll be able to get a Season Pass for Dark Harbor that will get you in whenever you’d like at the event.
Overall, this panel was excellent, showing off what makes the Dark Harbor event so special and such a fan favorite. With a new maze and several changes coming, this looks like it could be the Halloween Haunt of 2025.
