DC has a new Clayface. It is being reported that Tom Rhys Harries will be playing the role of Clayface in DC Studios’ next movie. Tom Rhy Harries is known for playing Manchester DJ Axel Collins in the Netflix series White Lines and Eddie Walker in the Apple TV+ series Suspicion. Harries has also acted in the television series Jekyll and Hyde, Unforgotten, and Britannia.
Clayface, introduced in Detective Comics #40 in June 1940, is a shape-shifting villain who has occasionally served as an ally to Batman. Numerous beings have been called Clayface, with a total of eight different characters officially holding the mantle at one time or another. Knowing who and what to expect, Clayface can be a tricky affair.
