James Gunn took over as the co-head of DC Studios alongside Peter Safran and they both hit the ground running. They started off with a plan to make movies, TV, and other media that focused on what makes DC special. The first step in that plan is underway soon with the release of Superman on July 11th. The film is all about the Man of Steel, but it also lays down some kernels for whats to come in the DC Studios plan as well. Gunn sat down with our friend Brandon Davis of Phase Hero to talk about the future plans and what Superman has to do with those plans. Davis asked specifically about the Hall of Justice and the “Justice Gang” in the movie.

I know kind of where we’re planning on and going, you know, God willing. So, I know, what the basic the basic plan is. You see the Hall of Justice and you see that it’s not even finished yet. They’re still putting the name up there.

“It’s owned by Maxwell Lord, and he owns the Justice Gang, basically.

As for what’s to come in Superman, you’ll have to see the movie yourself on July 11th.
