Disney Channel is bringing back Camp Rock! Today, the network and Disney+ announced that Camp Rock 3 has officially been greenlit. Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas will return in their iconic roles from the Disney Channel favorite. Demi Lovato executive produces alongside the Jonas Brothers. Vancouver hosts filming for Camp Rock 3 beginning this week! It’s a wild time to be a Disney fan as a lot of familiar faces from the past revisit favorites. Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam are all-time Top 10 Disney Channel Original Movies, according to the company.
“Camp Rock is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, with unforgettable music, energetic storytelling, and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day,” Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, said in a statement. “Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation.”
What’s the new Camp Rock with The Jonas Brothers about?

Disney included a tease for the new movie in the announcement. “The story picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances.”
“Camp Rock’s all-new campers include bold and determined Sage (Liamani Segura) and her easygoing brother Desi (Hudson Stone), cello prodigy Rosie (Lumi Pollack), drummer with his own beat Cliff (Casey Trotter), choreo queen Callie (Brooklynn Pitts), intimidating influencer Madison (Ava Jean) and camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton).”
Veronica Rodriguez directs Camp Rock 3. Eydie Faye writes the project for Disney Branded Television. Jamal Sims is handling choreography.
