Tim Seeley, co-creator of Revival (currently airing on SYFY) and the New York Times-bestselling writer/artist behind Hack/Slash and Money Shot, is teaming up with acclaimed artist Stefano Simeone (The Last Days of Black Hammer, Radiant Black) for a brand-new, spine-chilling series, No Place. This first release under Ignition Press promises to be a horrific fusion of the Oz and Cthulhu mythos. This story will bring fans a unique and terrifying new world.
WHAT IS NO PLACE?
No Place follows Mariposa Montiel, a teenager who has returned home after mysteriously vanishing from her Chicago neighborhood. The years of absence have turned her into an outcast in her own family. Now, she faces the ridicule of being labeled a fraud by both the media and her community. With nothing but a tiger-striped feather and a fantastical story about her time as the champion of a magical jungle land called Mayahuela, Mari’s return is anything but a hero’s welcome.
However, a secret organization with a vested interest in so-called fictional worlds soon reaches out to Mari. They are offering her a chance to prove herself once again. But this time, the fate of the real world lies in her hands.
Fans will get an exclusive first look at No Place: The Cold Open during the Ignition Press Room at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). There, the full creative team behind this highly anticipated series will be revealed. Alongside details on what promises to be a gripping new title. Get NO PLACE At San Diego Comic-Con FIRST
Fans attending Comic Con International in San Diego will be the first to be able to secure a copy of NO Place: The Cold Open visiting the Ignition Press Room in the Gaslamp District (643 G Street). Additionally, Ignition Press will debut exclusive NO Place merchandise including an art print by Tim Seeley, a pair of stickers, and a pair of collectible enamel pins. As previously
announced, Tim Seeley will be in attendance for scheduled signings.
