Are you ready for liminal spaces? Are you ready to see those spaces in a horror movie? Well, Backrooms is here from director Kane Parsons with the new flim starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Renate Reinsve. Check out the trailer for the film below.

Backrooms releases in theaters on May 29th, 2026.

The new trailer reveals some found-footage elements into the proceedings, which is similar to the original concept of the film. Will Soodik wrote the script, which has a strange doorway appearing in the basement of a furniture showroom.
