Chris Stuckmann started off as a YouTube Critic and made it all the way to making his own movie with NEON. FIrst off, props to him for living the dream. His debut feature, Shelby Oaks arrives in theaters on October 3rd, 2025. It’s a traditional narrative with found footage elements. It’s about two paranormal investigators that went missing as Mia searches for her sister Riley.

“As Mia uncovers new and disturbing leads related to Riley’s disappearance, she uncovers evidence of a hidden supernatural evil dating all the way back to her and Riley’s childhood.”

Mike Flanagan is an executive producer on the film, as well as Trevor Macy, Melinda Nishioka, and Intrepid Pictures. The cast includes Camille Sullivan, Brendan Sexton III, Michael Beach, Robin Bartlett, Keith David, Charlie Talbert, Emily Bennett, and Sarah Durn. It also includes Derek Mears, who’s previously played Jason Voorhees.
