Life doesn’t often go the way you planned, Everything’s Going to Be Great tells us.
Following the Smart family, for whom pipe dreams are just regular dreams, it’s a story about embracing who you are, even if life doesn’t exactly go as planned. When failed Broadway producer and patriarch Buddy (Bryan Cranston) receives a play production deal that could change everything, he immediately lights out to follow it. His son, Derrick (Jack Champion), just wants to play football. His other son, Les (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth), wants to conquer every stage. But when everything changes suddenly, both kids have to reevaluate who they are.
We were fortunate to be able to sit down with two of the film’s stars, Jack Champion and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth.
