“V/H/S/Halloween” is the next feature found footage horror anthology coming to Shudder on October 3. This franchise has an a great place for filmmakers to test out horrific ideas in the form of a short film. The latest “V/H/S” like the title suggests focuses on the real terror happening during all hallows eve. The feature ends with the short titled “Home Haunt”.

A CHAT WITH MICHELINE PITT-NORMAN AND R.H. NORMAN

With the release of “V/H/S/Halloween” and its premiere at Fantastic Fest, I got to talk with Micheline Pitt-Norman and R.H. Norman. They are the writers and directors for the short, “Home Haunt”. The short features a family that traditionally makes a haunted house at their home and it gets bigger and bigger every year. This year, someone unknowingly brings home a cursed record that awakens something evil.

In our conversation, they share with me the inspiration behind their short. As well as some of the insane challenges that they faces putting this short together. They also share with me how they got VFX icon Rick Baker to help them out. It’s a really fun conversation that has me excited for their upcoming projects. You can check it out below!
