Bring It On celebrated the movie’s 25th anniversary yesterday at Alamo Drafthouse Los Angeles. Kirsten Dunst, Gabrielle Union, Lindsay Sloane, and Jesse Bradford were all on-hand in the downtown location. Amanda Dobbins from The Big Picture moderated a special panel. A ton of folks crowded in to cheer for Bring It On during the special screening.

We’ve got some pictures for you right here from the special Q+A and screening. Bring It On delivered some special photo ops along with Toros and Clovers themed cocktails. If you missed out, there were some pompoms for cheering on the cast too. Luckily, the event was livestreamed to fans as well. Alamo Drafthouse has more 25th anniversary screenings for you as well, so you can experience it in the theater too.

Bring It On 25th Anniversary!

Here’s how Alamo describes the classic:

“The Toro cheerleading squad from Rancho Carne High School in San Diego has got spirit, spunk, sass, and a killer routine that’s sure to land them the national championship trophy for the sixth year in a row. But for newly elected team captain Torrance (Kirsten Dunst), a typical all-American high school girl whose cheering is not just an activity but a way of life, the Toros’ road to total cheer glory takes a shady turn.”

“Her dream becomes a nightmare when she discovers that their perfectly choreographed routines were in fact stolen from the Clovers, a hip-hop inner-city squad from East Compton, by the Toros’ former captain. While the Toros scramble to come up with a new routine, the Clovers, competing in the nationals for the first time, led by squad captain Isis (Gabrielle Union), have their own problems – coming up with enough money to cover their travel expenses to the championships.”

Bring it On

“With time running out and the pressure mounting, both captains drive their squads to the point of exhaustion: Torrance, hell-bent on saving the Toros’ reputation, and Isis more determined than ever to see that the Clovers finally get the recognition that they deserve. But only one team can bring home the title, so may the best moves win.”
