NBC has officially released the trailer for Season 2 of Brilliant Minds, giving fans their first look at what’s to come in the hit medical drama. Inspired by the works of world-famous neurologist and author Oliver Sacks, the series continues to follow Dr. Oliver Wolf (played by Zachary Quinto) and his team at Bronx General as they take on some of the most perplexing medical mysteries of the human mind.
Season 2 premieres on September 22, 2025, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with episodes available to stream the following day on Peacock.
What the Trailer Teases
The Brilliant Minds Season 2 trailer sets the stage with shocking new cases. From a boxer who cannot control his own arm to a woman convinced she has escaped a reality-TV set. While these neurological puzzles captivate the hospital staff, the bigger mystery may be Dr. Wolf himself. Glimpses of his unraveling raise a chilling question: could the doctor who heals minds become the patient in need of saving?
The trailer also highlights intense new rivalries. John Clarence Stewart joins as Dr. Anthony Thorne, a sharp ER physician who clashes with Wolf. Brian Altemus plays Charlie Porter, a driven neurology resident who doesn’t hesitate to call out Wolf’s increasingly erratic behavior. Adding more tension, Bellamy Young appears as Dr. Amelia Frederick, a clinical director who challenges Wolf’s unconventional methods.
