The ‘ohana is heading to San Diego Comic-Con! Walt Disney Studios is bringing the heart, humor, and Hawaiian warmth of Lilo & Stitch to San Diego Comic-Con International! The film will be joining not only with an immersive fan experience celebrating the franchise, but a cast panel as well!
Lilo & Stitch SDCC Activation & PANEL
From July 24–27, attendees and the general public can dive into the aloha spirit at a free, badge-less activation in the Gaslamp Diagonal. Right next to the Omni Hotel, the activation will be Open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (until 2 p.m. on Sunday). The activation invites fans of all ages to enjoy island-inspired photo ops, behind-the-scenes peeks, and cool off with complimentary shaved ice. With plenty of tropical vibes and Stitch-sized cuteness, it’s a summer celebration not to be missed.
LILO & STITCH SDCC PANEL
The festivities continue inside the convention center with Disney’s Lilo & Stitch panel on Friday, July 25, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. in Room 6BCF. This special event will bring together the stars and creative forces behind both the original animated film and the highly anticipated live-action adaptation. Panelists include franchise creator Chris Sanders (also the original voice of Stitch), breakout star Maia Kealoha (Lilo), Tia Carrere (who voiced Nani in the original and now plays Mrs. Kekoa), and Sydney Agudong (live-action Nani). Together, they’ll reflect on the film’s cultural impact and preview what’s next for the mischievous blue alien and his human family.
With the live-action film already reigning as the #1 movie globally this year, Disney’s Lilo & Stitch presence at Comic-Con promises to be a highlight of the weekend, offering fans a heartfelt reminder that in every galaxy, “ ’ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.”
