Hulu is making a big impression at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 by bringing the beloved world of King of the Hill to life. Located just outside the Convention Center at Fifth Ave Landing – Lot A1, fans will get the chance to step into Hank Hill’s Backyard, a full-scale, Texas-inspired experience that captures the charm and humor of Arlen like never before. Running from July 24 to July 27, this activation is open to the public and packed with activities, photo ops, and delicious BBQ.
Visitors will be treated to a full backyard cookout with Texas-style BBQ bites served throughout the day. Umbrellas and picnic tables offer a place to rest and soak in the atmosphere, while a giant grill plays clips from past and upcoming seasons of King of the Hill. Classic lawn games like cornhole add to the laid-back backyard vibes, allowing fans to unwind as if they’re one of the Hills’ neighbors.

KING OF THE HILL COMES TO LIFE!
Interactive features bring even more fun to the experience. At Alamo Pong, guests can compete in a custom version of beer pong with water served in Alamo-branded aluminum cans. These cold drinks double as fun souvenirs. For those who love to personalize their experience, the Mega Lo Mart Customization Hat Station offers trucker hats with show-themed patches, letting everyone leave with a unique piece of Arlen flair.
Photo ops are plentiful, with large-scale 2D cutouts of characters and iconic locations from the show. Fans can hop on the family lawn mower in front of the Hill residence for a memorable picture or pose beside Dale’s Dead Bug van. At Rhinestein’s Cowboy Boot Toss, guests toss oversized boots over stakes for exclusive prizes.
With BBQ, games, swag, and plenty of photo-worthy moments, Hulu’s King of the Hill activation is a must-see event at SDCC 2025. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the return of the series and step into the animated world that has captured hearts for generations.
