Prime Video has unveiled first-look images from its upcoming music drama series, The Runarounds. The eight-episode series comes from Outer Banks co-creator Jonas Pate and will premiere this fall in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Set in Wilmington, North Carolina, the story follows a group of recent high school graduates who form a rock band during the summer after graduation. United by a shared passion for music and the dream of stardom, they dive headfirst into chasing their big break. Throughout one unforgettable summer, the friends fall in love, get into trouble, and form bonds that feel like family.
The show explores the emotional highs and lows of coming-of-age at the edge of adulthood. As they pursue their dreams, the band members discover more about themselves and each other. Original music performed by the band adds authenticity and energy to every episode, giving the story a unique, lived-in rhythm.





The cast features real-life musicians William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zendé Murdock, and Jesse Golliher. They’re joined by Lilah Pate, Maximo Salas, Kelley Pereira, Marley Aliah, Brooklyn Decker, Hayes MacArthur, Shea Pritchard, and Mark Wystrach. With strong performances and original songs, the series blends youthful ambition with raw, emotional storytelling.
