The trailer for Twinless, a poignant yet darkly comedic drama written and directed by James Sweeney (Straight Up), has dropped. Headlined by Teen Wolf and Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien and Sweeney himself, the film explores the emotional terrain of grief, identity, and connection through a wholly original premise.

In Twinless, Roman (O’Brien) and Dennis (Sweeney) are two strangers who meet at a support group for people who have lost their twin siblings. Initially awkward and emotionally closed off, the two men quickly find solace in each other’s company. Both are adrift in their mourning, struggling to define themselves in the absence of someone who once mirrored them.

The cast includes beloved TV and film figures such as Lauren Graham, Chris Perfetti (Abbott Elementary), and Tasha Smith (Empire), adding gravitas and wit to an already emotionally rich story. Produced by David Permut (noted for Hacksaw Ridge) alongside Sweeney, Twinless blends raw emotional insight with stylish, character-driven storytelling.
