What was originally billed as a limited series, Untamed, has officially been renewed for a second season. Untamed stars Eric Bana as a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The series premiered on July 17 to strong ratings and reviews, which led to the quick renewal just 12 days later. We don’t know much yet about Season 2, but series co-creator Elle Smith did state that the new season would feature a park as different from Yosemite as possible. There’s no word yet on when Season 2 will hit our screens, so fans may be in for a bit of a wait. Be sure to stay tuned to That Hashtag Show; we’ll keep you updated as soon as more details emerge. In the meantime, you can catch all six episodes of Untamed Season 1, now streaming on Netflix.

Untamed Season 2
“I am absolutely thrilled that we get the chance to bring another season of UNTAMED to life,” star Eric Bana said in a statement. “The response to Season 1 has been a testament to the incredible effort by our crew to deliver something truly unique. I can’t wait to take Kyle on his next journey. Massive thanks to Netflix, John Wells Productions, Warner Bros. Television and our fans.”
Bana will return as Kyle Turner, Investigative Services Branch agent of the National Parks Service — and in Season 2 of the series, co-created by Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith, the grizzled park veteran will be investigating a whole new mystery.
