We currently don’t know when Tron: Ares will hit Disney+, so subscription streamers will need to have some patience. However, an educated guess could place this title in streaming realm by the end of January. That presumption comes from the timeframe between The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ physical release and subsequent Disney+ debut. So don’t go marking your calendars just yet.
Speaking of which, Tron fans hoping to add a new Steelbook to their collection should also be celebrating. Today’s news also came with information on when they physical release of Ares’ journey will be arriving as well.

Tron: Ares’ 4K UHD Steelbook Is Also On The Way
For Users and Programs that need to hold a disc in their hands, you won’t go empty handed. Unfortunately, you’re going to have to wait until January 6, 2026 to do just that. That said, when the result is the Steelbook pictured above, how can anyone really complain?
The artwork for Tron: Ares’ physical release aligns perfectly with the covers of both previous 4K discs released this fall. If this really is the End of Line for the Tron films, a proper home release can sit on loyal fans’ shelves for years to come. The only thing that’d make it truly complete would be a physical release of Tron: Uprising. Which, of course, is something we can always revisit during the next push for another Tron sequel.
For now, Tron: Ares will hit Digital HD on December 2nd, with the physical release arriving on January 6! Those of you waiting for the Disney+ debut can also revisit Tron, Tron: Uprising, and Tron: Legacy on that very platform. Last, but not least, check back with THS’ Tron: Ares archive; as there’s bound to be some fun information hidden within the bonus features on tap.
