IMAX is having a massive summer, and it’s only getting bigger with the release of Black Swan. The movie returns to theaters 15 years after its original release. Darren Aronofsky’s project hits those massive screens on August 21 and August 24. Interestingly, this is the first time fans can see Black Swan in IMAX.

Fans of the premium format get a digitally remastered version of the movie. IMAX bumps up the image and sound quality with The IMAX Experience. That consists of IMAX DMR (Digital Remastering) and a new IMAX 5.0 sound mix. For newcomers, that means a sharper image and the audio taking full advantage of the theater’s geometry. 250 different locations are getting this Black Swan release across America.
