Smurfs (2025) is the latest reboot of Hanna-Barbera’s beloved animated characters. The tiny blue creatures are back, and this time they’re heading on an adventure that spans across the multiverse. Considering the multiverse concept is a huge part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s current saga, moviegoers are bound to wonder if Smurfs follows in the MCU’s footsteps by having a post-credit scene.

If you’re checking out Smurfs in theaters, you will want to stay for a little mid-credits treat. It doesn’t set up any future movies, but it’s a fun joke that the kids will probably enjoy. After the mid-credits scene, there is no post-credits scene. Unless you like to read the names of all the people who worked hard on the film (which we always encourage), there’s no need to stay.

What Happens in the Smurfs Mid-Credits Scene?

Warning: Mild Smurfs Spoiler Ahead! In the mid-credits scene of Smurfs, the villain Razamel (JP Karliak) gets stuck in the Tardigrade universe, which is shown earlier in the film. The sad and lonely Tardigrade is voiced by Jimmy Kimmel.

This is not Kimmel’s first appearance in the Smurfs franchise. He also voiced Passive-Agressive Smurf in Sony’s The Smurfs 2.

What Is Smurfs About?

You can read the Smurfs synopsis here: “When Papa Smurf (John Goodman) is mysteriously taken by evil wizards, Razamel and Gargamel, Smurfette (Rihanna) leads the Smurfs on a mission into the real world to save him.
