Spaceballs is coming back with Rick Moranis and Bill Pullman. Deadline reports that the new movie will also star Keke Palmer. Amazon MGM Studios will be releasing the new version of Spaceballs. Lone Starr and Dark Helmet returning is definitely going to get some of those old fans on board with a new movie.
There’s no word on who Keke Palmer is playing in the follow-up right now. The plot for the sequel is a closely guarded secret as well. Moranis is coming out of retirement for Spaceballs and that’s enough to raise a bunch of eyebrows. Mel Brooks is also going to be back as Yogurt for the sequel. You can expect the new Spaceballs movie to hit theaters in 2027, just in time to be released near Ryan Gosling’s Star Wars: Starfighter.
