Four more tributes just joined Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Variety revealed a new casting announcement today, which sees Laura Marcus, Percy Daggs IV, Rada Rae, and Jhaleil Swaby all enter the arena.
Marcus will play Silka, a tribute from District 1. Marcus previously appeared in Starz’s The Serpent Queen, BBC’s The Jetty, and the Star Wars series Andor on Disney+.

Rae plays Wellie, a District 6 tribute. Her previous credits include House of David and Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers.
Finally, Swaby plays Panache, a District 1 tribute. Swaby’s work includes The Lake on Prime Video and CW’s Supergirl.
The four actors join many stars in the Sunrise on the Reaping ensemble, including Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Ralph Fiennes, McKenna Grace, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak, Jesse Plemons, Billy Porter, Lili Taylor, Ben Wang, and Joseph Zada.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping adapts the bestselling novel by Suzanne Collins, which released earlier this year. The story revisits the world of Panem 24 years before the events of The Hunger Games. The story starts on the morning of the reaping of the Fiftieth Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell – aka Haymitch’s games.
Sunrise on the Reaping is currently in production. It will release in theaters November 20, 2026. Until then, check back to THS for more updates out of Panem.
